I had hoped my first blog entry would be a little different to this!

So I thought with 7 days to go my first entry would read something like . . . after beating the Greens in our last league game before the Euros, I am fit and ready to go for the Euros . . . unfortunatley the Greens, a fence and ground like concrete had a different idea...

Instead it reads, after losing 19 - 5 to the Greens in a game I watched from the sidelines thanks to a shoulder injury I picked up going flying over a fence in Canterbury we are now on our final countdown to Prague.

The shoulder is now nowhere as painful as last Saturday though it has turned many different colours of bruising. On the bright side it is loosening out considerably and I should be able to throw and bat on Friday and be 100% in time for our first training on Monday morning in Prague.

We travel Saturday at 930 and need to be in the airport at 8am... looks like I will be dragging poor oul Panda out of bed at about 7 to get to the airport in time.
