Conor Sayles has received his first call up for Ireland after being named in Ireland World Series Squad.

Conor Sayles will travel with Ireland for the first time as he joins Colum Lavery and Melanie Cunningham in new the National Squad Managers first squad. The Ireland squad will participate in the World Series which will be played in London over the weekend of September 11 & 12.

The World Series is an annual invitational tournament used by the Irish management to assess players and plays an important part in Irelands preparations for the European Championships and even more important as players try to impress with the 2011 European Championships only 10 months away.
