Wins against Slovenia and Guernsey ensured a top 4 finish for Ireland in the Round Robin stage of the Europeans in Prague yesterday, before they faced the defending champions, GB, in their final game of the day.
With their progression assured, Ireland chose to rotate their line up somewhat against an apparently full strength GB. The game finished in yet another GB win, 14-3.
Ireland now face Guernsey on Saturday morning (10th July) while GB face the Czechs in the "Page Playoff" system. The winner of the latter goes straight to the "Grand Final" while the winner of the Ireland-Guernsey game plays the loser for the second spot in the final.
