Marlay Braves scored a well deserved win over division leaders Renegades Black on Monday night 15 – 9.
The Braves played well as a team, with Sunday’s practice drills emerging in some very good plays. John Cantwell pitched exceptionally well, keeping the usually high scoring renegades on the back foot with excellent outfielding and tight infield play keeping their score low. Strong hitting from across the Braves sealed the win. With the sun shining and a high standard of play, this was a very enjoyable game for all involved – particularly since the win puts the Braves in joint second spot in the table.
