Another stellar game from the Braves that resulted in a 19-9 victory over the Loan Homers Krusty.  The Braves are now back to .500 at 4 and 4.

The Braves started the game in the driving rain that lasted 2 full innings and managed to get to a 6-2 lead.  The rain lifted and the defense dug in and played 3 more shut out innings before the Krustys scratched out 2 in the 6th and 5 in the 7th.  The Braves scored in 5 of 6 innings batted with a spirit crushing 8-run 6th inning.

The Braves played brilliant defense and again stayed within themselves and did not chase the runner.  The newbies are starting to get the hang of the game and it looks good.  Practice is bearing the fruit and the defense is gelling.

Many thanks to OZ who showed up and coached 3rd base.  OZ took the time to explain rules and situations to some of the newer players which is always a bonus.  Thank you OZ!
