Welcome to Marlay Softball Club |
Marlay Softball Club play co-ed slowpitch softball in Marlay Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin, Ireland. The club consists of three teams - the Martyrs, Braves & Shutout 7 - who compete in the Softball Ireland Leinster League every summer and in various weekend tournaments around Ireland and the UK. Club practice is held every week from March to August on Thursday evenings at 7pm and Sunday evenings at 6pm both in Marlay Park. Marlay Braves have been drawn to play against fellow Division 2 residents, the Deadly Suspects, in the semi finals of the Brian Walshe Plate on Saturday 4th September in ALSAA at 12pm.

The Dublin Indoor Softball Tournament (DIST) autumn session has been confirmed for September 25, 2010. Indoor sotball has become a common addition to the Softball calendar with the bi-annual DIST and annual Limerick tournament.

IOST 2010 was a massive success for Marlay Softball Club. Our first team, Marlay Martyrs 1, reached the final unbeaten via a semi final win against Premier Division rivals, Oddsox Green.
